AWS QuickSight: Adding an IAM user
AWS QuickSight users are structured around emails, not around IAM users. Any user of QuickSight must have an email address, no matter if they exist as an IAM user or not. However, IAM users don't have email addresses assigned to them. They have only usernames.
So, in QuickSight:
- Add an IAM User by filling in their IAM username and filling in their email.
- Add a user without IAM by adding their email.
- Adding of an IAM User Role doesn't seem to be supported.
