Business intelligence for AWS S3 data

Within the AWS ecosystem, data stored in S3 can be queried with a business intelligence tool. The lego bricks are:

AWS S3 for data storage
AWS Athena as a SQL-querying layer on top of S3 (built on Presto). When creating a table in Athena, Athena uses AWS Glue Data Catalog for storing the metadata.
AWS QuickSight as a business-intelligence tool connected to Athena.
